THE STORY:
I wrote a late night Facebook post positing that if it got 100 likes, I would write, record, produce, mix and release a new song in 7 days.

Within five hours, the post had 170 likes and many encouraging comments, So the challenge was accepted.

I decided that this time, I would do something never before attempted - that is - to write every note, every lyric, play every part, share every thought of the songs creation live to Periscope. No filters, no editing, no holds barred.

As soon as I had begun, I realized what a vulnerable and transparent process this was, but more importantly, how happy I was to do it. The interaction with an audience was incredible and - like quantum physics (as Unadari Phillips pointed out) the mere act of observing the creation of the song, was changing and affecting it.

The final result was so awesome that I decided to spend an extra three days mixing it properly. (We took another 3 weeks).

It was all documented on Periscope.

One of my faves I have ever made for a song I have released.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the making of this song, including my IndieGogo backers/support network:

"(Don't Get Caught) By The Dazzling Charades"
(words and music by Keram (ASCAP/SOCAN)
A star will die
And yet I feel I just started
And I must reconcile
The storm in all I wanted

Oh no, please
I can't, I can't
Ready, steady
My heart, my heart

It's 3:33
And other superstitions be
Is that the way we're gonna deal
With the way it's gonna feel

All your animal loneliness
The turbulent stuff of your life
All the heft of my body and mind
Archetype you're looking for's not
Hers to hold
Rise above
As below

But
David Gornall asked me for a positive lyric now
Instead of you
You hapless foul
You energy-drainer
I'll take the hit
In spite of you
I know we'll win
The end is new

I need you to know
That I hold the glow
Of our yearning hearts
Above all the cards

It's eleventeen
That's a one one one one bean
People think that's kinda neat
It's kinda what worried me
But I'm not the kind to wait and see
